I always come back to this place. The staff helped me get a local taxi number on my first stay. It suits me perfectly with Internet, electric kettle, air conditioning, flat-screen TV. It's a great place for a city trip. No pets or smoking allowed.

loved every moment there. came in funchal to explore new places, this apartment was good home base for making it happen. it had the best possible and magnificent setting very close to the promenade, and the center of funchal, near the promenade.

We had a fantastic stay at Apartamento Burgo Tanoeiros in downtown Funchal. the flat was incredibly comfortable, clean, and conveniently located near numerous restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and the famous market of Funchal. the promenade by the ocean and the Aerobus bus stop were just a few minutes away. the kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare our own meals. The host, Sofia, was extremely flexible and understanding, making our stay even more enjoyable. Cons: Nothing to be said. 👍.

The location was perfect, right in the center of the city with everything within a 10-minute walk. The room was clean and the kitchen well-equipped, even with free coffee and tea provided. I stayed at Apartamento Burgo "Tanoeiros" for a week as a solo traveler and it was perfect. The location is great, right in the old town with everything within walking distance. The apartment itself is lovely and simple, with all the basic amenities you need in the kitchen. The sofa area is comfortable and cozy. Sofia, the host, was very responsive and helpful, providing recommendations for nearby restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at the studio. Sofia, the host, was very accommodating and the place had everything we needed. It was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in the heart of the city. We enjoyed having easy access to buses, bars, and supermarkets. It was also a great base for exploring other parts of the island. Highly recommended!

The flat was really nice, comfy & super clean, located right downtown near tons of restaurants and bars, supermarkets & the famous market. The promenade and bus stop are just a few minutes away. One can comfortably cook and prepare snacks in the well-equipped kitchen. The host, Sofia, was incredibly flexible and understanding, which was greatly appreciated.

It is a city center, so you should mind the noise from nearby bars and cafes, especially during festivals. On Saturday, there was a discoteca nearby with deep bass that shook the whole quarter until 5 am.
